Northern Lights & Secret Lagoon

Winter Daily About 6 hours Reykjavík with pick up included Very easy

This tour combines the beauty of the Northern Lights with the magic of natural hot springs.

First stop in this tour as the Secret Lagoon located in Fludir, South Iceland. You will spend a couple of hours soaking and relaxing in this geothermal lagoon which is not the best kept secret in Iceland anymore and for good reason. The pool is a comfortable 38-40°C, all year around, which makes it an ideal place to relax and to enjoy being in nature. The lagoon is surrounded by wonderful natural landscapes with several geothermal spots, like the Little Geysir, next to the pool, who erupts every 5 minutes, for the joy of all visitors.

Next, the hunt begins!

Prepare for a magical Northern Lights and Stargazing experience that perfectly encapsulates the essence of the Icelandic Winter.

We’ll whisk you away far from the bright city lights that pollute the sky, where our expert Northern Lights guides will find the perfect viewing location (which varies day-to-day depending on weather conditions). The commute can be anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes outside of the city to guarantee the very best visibility.

The Northern Lights (also known as Aurora Borealis) are Iceland’s main attraction during the cold winter months. The Auroras are a magnificent phenomenon, and an absolute must-see for every traveler.

This tour travels by Super Jeep which gives us the advantage of being able to go off-road and adapt our itinerary quickly according to the area and activity of the northern lights.
