This 2 hour horse riding tour is an adventure you’ll be sure to never forget. Journey with us on horseback to the area we call Red Lava Hills and Rauðavatn lake, where you’ll experience raw Icelandic nature, just a short drive outside of the city.
We only ride in intimate groups to ensure complete safety and to provide personal and friendly service. This tour is about 5-7 km, depending on the riders experience, though no experience is required, this tour is completely suitable for beginners, whilst those with more experience can choose between different routes in the area.
We will either ride on a beautiful and smooth-riding path along the Red Lava Hills or, for a group of more experienced riders, we will ride by Rauðarvatn Lake.
You’ll experience the tölt gait to the fullest, which the Icelandic horse is most know for. As well as see stunning nature views, if you’ve got a taste for the outdoors, then come ride our beautiful horses in beautiful surroundings.
