Enjoy some of the best activities Iceland has to offer, with an ATV ride through lava fields and black sand, quad biking up mountains, before spending the afternoon at sea, whale watching.

The tour begins with the quad biking tour, only 15 minutes away from Reykjavik. Riding to the top of Ulfarsfell mountain is the highlight of the ATV ride and an opportunity to experience the true thrills of quad biking. The view of Reykjavik and across the city, the ocean and surrounding mountains is an additional bonus and a perfect way enjoy the scenery.

After the quad biking tour, the group will be driven to Reykjavik old harbor, one of the coziest areas of down town Reykjavik. Before the whale watching tour, starting at 13.00, there is enough time to visit the Whale watching center and to walk around the harbour area. During the 3-hour guided whale watching trip, the cruise will go into the Faxafloi area, in search of magnificent whales and rich marine life, providing a fascinating insight into the sea life as well as great views over Reykjavik.

Good to know

  • Pick up from hotels / guesthouses starts up to 30 minutes before scheduled departure time. If you would rather meet us there, please arrive no later than 9.45 at Quad Safari base camp – Lambhagi, 113 Reykjavik.
  • If any passengers will be riding solo, please use the add-on ‘Single rider’ when booking.
  • The weather in Iceland can be unpredictable, so please dress warmly and wear sturdy shoes. We recommend hats, gloves and base layers.
  • Note that passengers need to have a valid drivers licence to operate the bikes although children can ride along as passengers.
