The Silfra snorkeling tour provides a very unique environment for a fantastic adventure, that will not be easily forgotten. On the tour, participants will be guided through the four parts of Silfra fissure, The Big Crack, Silfra Hall, Silfra Cathedral and Silfra Lagoon, all whilst floating between the Eurasian and American continental plates.
Silfra is filled with glacial water that has been trickling through underground lava for approximately 30 years and the water is therefore very clear, resulting in an exceptional visibility of around 100 meters. Snorkeling in the slight current of the freezing cold water and above astonishing colors give a unique perspective of Iceland that should not be missed.

Participants must:
Be at least 12 years old, weigh 45kg and be 150cm tall.
Be physically fit and comfortable in water and of course be able to swim
Be ready to wear a sometimes tight & constricting dry suit
Not be pregnant
This tour is conducted alongside the Diving in Silfra Day Tour. If you would like to snorkel while your friends or family dive, you can still enjoy the day together.
The weather in Iceland can be unpredictable so please dress according to weather and bring warm socks and base layers.
