Sea Angling is a pursuit that’s suitable for all ages. This tour departs from Reykjavik’s Old Harbour where we’ll set sail to Faxaflói Bay. Our experienced fishermen will usually spot fish in a flash! We’ll sometimes pop in for a visit to the Puffin Island on our way to the fishing grounds.
Don’t worry if you haven’t been sea angling before, it’s easy enough to pick up and our skilful crew will happily show you all the tricks of the trade, advise you on bait and pass on their vast knowledge of the sea. This tour is a great choice for both experienced fishermen and to those who simply wish to relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounding with a fishing rod in hand.
On our sea angling tours you get to spend a lot of time with your captain and the crew, who are always up for sharing entertaining stories of their time on the sea and very willing to answer any questions you may have. Before returning to solid ground we’ll grill your catch on-board and serve with Icelandic potatoes and a delicious garlic sauce. Bon appetit!
We recommend warm clothes and even some sunscreen in the summer months.
