Experience the magnificent view of Reykjavik, with its colorful rooftops, beautiful scenery and Iceland’s unspoiled countryside in its whole glory. Flying over in a helicopter with a stop at a top of a mountain you will see Reykjavik from a different view. It´s important to remember taking your camera for some breath-taking photos to take home!
Start your trip from Reykjavik Domestic Airport, just 5 minutes drive from the centre of the city. This round trip to a nearby summit with an impressive flyover of Reykjavik. You will be able to see some of the most famous landscapes, such as, Hallgrímskirkja Church and The Harpa concert hall. Let’s not forget the very famous colorful rooftops of the houses in the city and also the bay. While flying in the Reykjavik area, remember to ask the pilot to point out where the president lives.
When the flight concludes we slowly fly away from the urban area and start to see the beautiful landscape surrounding the city. We land on top of one of the nearby mountains and use the unique chance to take some breath-taking photos of you and the whole Reykjavik cityscape in the background.
Participants need to get to Nordurflug which is situated close to Reykjavik Domestic Airport. It is only a 5 minute drive from town.
