Explore the frozen aspect of Iceland in this adventurous Ice Cave Tour, when visiting the magnificent Langjokull Glacier and exploring the man made phenomena, Langjokull Ice cave.

The departure for the Ice Cave Tour is early in the morning, giving a crisp morning view of Langjokull Glacier. Upon arrival at your destination, you will ride in a specially modified truck onto the glacier, where you will have the unique opportunity to see the icy underworld of Iceland, and explore Langjokull Ice Cave. From there, your guide will lead you on an amazing journey deep within the glacier, surrounded by the stunning blue-hued ice.

Langjokull Ice Cave is a perfect example of some of the unique adventures available in Iceland, where the impossible is made possible. Until recently, what lay beneath the surface of Langjokull Glacier was a mystery. Creative vision, determination and the combined efforts of Iceland’s top engineers and geophysicists resulted in this man made ice tunnel, bored into the glacier. This extraordinary perspective offers visitors an unforgettable view of the world below the surface.

In addition to the Ice Cave tour, you will be able to enjoy lunch at the stunning Hotel Husafell, before continuing the journey into Borgarfjorður Valley. You will also have the chance to see the magnificent Hraunfossar, which are a series of waterfalls that flow over lava walls over a distance of about 900 meters. This insight into the beautiful Icelandic scenery is a perfect addition to the action packed Ice Cave Tour, making this a unique day to remember.
