The Golden Circle & Silfra Diving tour offers a magnificent way to see the beauty of Iceland, above & below the surface, as well as visiting the popular sites of Gullfoss Waterfall, Geysir Hot Springs and Thingvellir National Park.

The first stop on the Golden Circle route is at Thingvellir National Park, the home to the world’s  oldest parliament, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The magnificent Silfra Fissure is located at Thingvellir Lake and during the dive, the group has an opportunity to see the whole of Silfra Fissure, including Silfra Hall, Silfra Cathedral and Silfra Lagoon.

After the diving adventure, the excursion continues on the Golden Circle route, stopping at Gullfoss waterfall & Geysir Geothermal Area in located in Haukadalur Valley. The area of Geysir is popular for its erupting geysers and unique surroundings with Gullfoss waterfall being a magnificent sight with that exhibits one of Iceland’s  most powerful wonders.

Silfra fissure is filled with glacial water that has been tricking through underground lava for approximately 30 years, creating the gentle current seen in Silfra.

Good to know

Pick up from hotels / guesthouses starts up to 30 minutes before scheduled departure time.

Please dress according to weather, we recommend warm base layer and socks.

Participants must:

  • have a Scuba dive certification (PADI Open Water or equivalent)
    Dry suit diving experience is recommended
  • be physically fit & at least 18 years old.
  • be ready to wear a sometimes tight & constricting dry suit
  • not be pregnant
