This tour combines the most popular attractions of Iceland, with a visit to the popular Golden Circle in a daytime Golden Circle Tour, followed by an evening search for the beautiful Aurora Borealis in a Northern Lights Tour.

The first part of this Golden Circle Tour takes you to see three of the most popular attractions in the South of Iceland, starting with a picturesque route to Thingvellir National Park. The park is known for being uniquely situated on the tectonic plate boundaries of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, as well as being the home to the worlds oldest parliament and a place of stunning natural beauty.

After visiting Thingvellir National Park, the journey heads towards the famous Gullfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot spring area, where the powerful forces of Icelandic nature can be seen in action. Gullfoss Waterfall delivers an awe inspiring sight, with vast amounts of water rushing down lava layers, whilst the Geysir hot spring area has erupting geysers, bursting water as high as 30 meters from the ground. After the Golden Circle Tour you will have an interval before the Northern Lights tour, and an ideal opportunity to relax or enjoy a meal down town Reykjavik.

This action packed day is finished with an amazing Northern Lights Tour, in the search for the dancing Auroras. When seen, The Northern Lights are a spectacular, mesmerizing, and a truly unforgettable sight. On a good viewing day the lights can be seen dancing across the skies, offering an image to remember and a true symbol of the dramatic Icelandic winter.
