This tour departs from Reykjavik Domestic Airport, just a short 5 minute drive from the center of the city. Once you’re up in the air, be ready for a quick transition from the urban cityscape of Reykjavik to the scenic sights of the nature. This trip takes you through rough but magical volcanic landscapes that Iceland is known for. You will fly over countless volcanic craters and we can guarantee that the view is exceptional!
Continue your journey to the rugged coastline of the Reykjanes peninsula. The pilot will land the helicopter by a crater in the middle of Eldvörp, a 10 km long lava field that has extensive geothermal activity. Use the chance and take some breathtaking photos, when you’ve taken in all the beautiful surroundings, take a moment to breathe in the fresh ocean air. This trip concludes with a return to our base in Reykjavik and getting one last look at the city center from above.
Warm layered clothing and sturdy shoes are highly recommended.
Participants need to get to Norduflug on Nauthólsvegur road, which is situated close to Reykjavik Domestic Airport. It is only a 5 minute drive from town.
