Experience the delights of the famous Golden Circle with the added fun of an ATV ride.
The fully automatic quad bikes are super-easy and super-safe to drive. No previous experience needed as expert guides will take good care of you, and make sure you have a safe and an unforgettable trip.
You will be picked up from your hotel/guesthouse in Reykjavik and driven to the quad biking base camp in the outskirts of Reykjavik. After safety and driving instructions from expert guides, you’re ready to gear up and hit the mountains.
From our quad biking base camp, we hit the trail and head for the mountains. You’ll get the buzz of testing your ATV over different terrains, with an ever-changing landscape. Then it’s onward and upwards, as you push for the top of a mountain where you can enjoy panoramic views.
After the ATV tour it is time to sit back and enjoy some of the most popular attractions in Iceland. The Golden Circle features three of the most visited sites in Icelandic nature: Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir Hot Springs Area and Thingvellir national park.
Gullfoss is a towering 32 meter high waterfall where one is reminder of the raw power of nature, as the river Hvíta thunders through a rocky canyon throwing up an endless spray. The noise alone is something to behold.
Geysir Hot Spring Area is full of bubbling mud pools, steaming, sulfurous smells, and exploding water towers. Strokkur geyser shoots boiling water high into the air every few minutes.
Thingvellir National Park is a historic site of the world’s first parliament which was formed in the year 891, it is also where the two tectonic plates meet. Thingvellir has about as much historical and geological significance as you can get.
Pick up starts 30 minutes before scheduled departure times.
