On this tour we’ll combine nutritious local food, mindfulness, yoga, and connecting with nature into a refreshing premium wellness retreat.
Every day brings you a new adventure, whether it be a spa day, mindful meditation, or hiking in nature, this 7-day wellness retreat has something for everyone.
Day 1 – Arrival. Upon arrival you will meet the guide who will transfer you to the first hotel that is located near the Blue Lagoon. A relaxing afternoon in the Blue Lagoon SPA. A welcome dinner. Transfer to Northern Light Inn, near the Blue Lagoon.
Day 2 – Morning yoga practice. After a good breakfast we visit Reykjanes Peninsula and enjoy the natural beauty of the GEOPARK. Outdoor yoga on the black beach by the Kleifarvatn Lake. Visit the geothermal area Seltún and enjoy all it’s colours. A walk to the newly formed Lava field at Fagradalsfjall. Lunch at Bryggjan. Enjoy breathtaking ocean view at Brimketill and Reykjanestá cliffs. Rest of the evening free. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3 – After a good breakfast we will enjoy the surrounding environment, meditate and indulge our bodies and minds to the magnificent pure icelandic nature. After tuning to the nature we will head to Hotel Ion near Thingvellir area where we spend the next 2 nights. Lunch at the hotel. Late afternoon yoga session. After dinner a short walk in the area.
Day 4 – Morning yoga practice. After breakfast we do some sightseeing, visiting Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir hot springs and have lunch at the sustainable greenhouse farm Fridheimar. After lunch we hike to Reykjadalur Valley and bath in the hot river. The hike is not difficult and we go slowly to enjoy the natural environment and the view. Bath in the hot river in the middle of the nature. Relax at the hotel before dinner. Free time after dinner.
Day 5 – Morning yoga practice. After breakfast we head to Fontana Spa where you will enjoy a relaxing morning. After the spa we visit Thingvellir National Park and walk in the area. If weather allows a short outdoor yoga session. Enjoy the hotels Spa facilities. Dinner at the hotel and an evening yoga session.
Day 6 – Morning yoga practice. After breakfast we head to Reykjavík where you will spend the last day in Iceland. In the afternoon a spa treatment at Sky Lagoon. A farewell evening dinner at Hotels restaurant.
Day 7 – Departure. Transfer to airport.
