In this tour we pick you up in a Super Jeep especially equipped to climb mountains, cross rivers and drive on glaciers. We’ll drive to the top of the mountain Ulfarsfell 335 m/1,100 feet, there you can enjoy the amazing view of Reykjavik city and nearby nature.

We drive ahead to the dormant volcano Hengill and nearby Lake Thingvallavatn. Then we head through the ancient lava plateau of Hellisheidi and if the conditions are in our favor we take a D-Tour through the “Thousand Waters Route” for a smooth bumpy ride splashing in the rivers.

We end our tour at a local cave for a light inspection.

Did you know?

The best way to describe the weather in Iceland is by saying it changes, a lot! Even if the sun is shining in the morning and there are no clouds in sight they might very well be waiting to surprise you in just a moment. Don’t be fooled by the gorgeousness of a blue sky, the rain is never far away. The rain might even have visited the night before and you might not realize it before your foot is deep into the wet moss.
