Visiting á country where beer was only legalised in March 1989 it is interesting to visit one of the oldest breweries, Olgerdin. Ölgerðin, Iceland’s oldest brewery, invites you on a unique journey over the ages. Tantalize your taste buds, experience the quirkiness of Iceland and enjoy stories of the drinking culture past and present.

Learn about mead, which the Vikings brewed, taste the beer substitute which Icelanders drank during prohibition and try a shot of Brennivín, produced in our very own distillery. A fun evening for every beer appasionato.
