This tour takes you to amazing natural spots along the south coast of Iceland. You will see beautiful landscape contrasts, where grown plains meet coarse mountains and fire meets ice.
There is a very good variety of rivers, waterfalls, stunning mountains and glaciers along Iceland’s Southern Coastline. We will visit the glacier Solheimajökull. Then a lunch break in Vik and in the afternoon we drive to the black beach Reynisfjara with its basaltculums. Before returning we drive to the waterfalls Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss.
You will visit the waterfalls of Skógafoss, with its 60m drop, and Seljalandsfoss, which you can walk behind and through to the other side.
In Reynisfjara, or Black Sand Beach, you get to experience the force of the North Atlantic and its shaped basalt column cliffs.
Later we take a short walk up to the glacier snout of Sólheimajökull, a sublet glacier of Mýrdalsjökull, where you can witness the dynamics of Icelandic glaciers.
Pick up from hotels / guesthouses starts up to 30 minutes before scheduled departure time.
