Bike from the Blue Lagoon on the new energy gravel path, through rough lava fields and colorful moss. This is a unique opportunity to experience the Icelandic nature of Reykjanes in this mountain bike tour.

The tour starts from the back door of the world famous geothermal power plant, the Blue Lagoon, known for its healing and relaxation properties. Initially, the bike path takes the cyclists through rough lava and the lively Icelandic moss, which can change color from being grey on dry days, to being green on wet days.

After seeing these colorful elements of the nature of Reykjanes, the cyclists will bike along the mountain Thorbjorn and along Ingibjargar paved path towards the fishing town of Grindavik.

The finishing touch to the mountain bike tour, is biking on the gravel road on the Hopsnes peninsula. There you will find shipwrecks, lighthouses and ruins of houses.  Don´t miss out on this chance to view some of the spectacular nature scenery of Reykjanes peninsula has to offer.

The weather in Iceland can be unpredictable, so we recommend wearing warm and waterproof clothing for the bike tour.
