The Golden Circle & Horse Riding tour offers a combination of exercise and sightseeing, beginning with a  horse ride on the Icelandic horse, followed by the opportunity to explore Gullfoss Waterfall, Geysir Hot Springs and Thingvellir National Park in all its glory.

Laxnes Farm is located in the historical Mosfellsdalur Valley, only 15 minutes from Reykjavik.  In the morning, visitors will go for a two hour horse ride in the beautiful mountain area that surrounds the farm, allowing for a good opportunity to experience horse riding on the Icelandic horse.

Afterwards, visitors can have some rest before driving over to Thingvellir National Park, widely recognized for its unique geological features, natural beauty and historical importance. Furthermore, Thingvellir is a UNESCO world heritage site and home to the oldest parliament in the world.

From Thingvellir, the journey heads towards the geothermal area of Geysir, the home of the erupting hot spring, where water bubbles and erupts from the ground as high as 24 meters. The last stop of the day is at the awe inspiring Gullfoss, or “Golden waterfall”, exhibiting a spectacular view of some of Iceland’s unspoiled nature.
