The Glacier Extreme Tour is a hiking adventure with emphasis on Ice-climbing. The Client/Guide ratio is max 5/1 in order to have the option of getting into those unique and challenging places and to make sure everyone gets plenty of climbing in with everyone safety in first priority. This trip can be as extreme as you would like and we tailor it to our guests requests. No previous Ice-climbing experience is required.
This Tour departs from Skaftafell where you will be driven along with other hiking groups. Once the starting point is reached the group will make its way to the Falljökull Glacier. Along the way to the ice-climbing locations you will see all the best of what the Glacier has to offer. Climbing locations are picked based on the groups ability and requests. Your guide will then set up top-ropes for climbing and the ice climbing begins.
